Our client in the automotive sector is looking for a High Voltage Energy. As an essential team member, you will collaborate closely with Test Engineers to validate and enhance premium products, playing a pivotal role in driving innovation and ensuring unparalleled reliability. Job Responsibilities
Execute and evaluate engineering prototypes, overseeing data acquisition and processing
Drive innovation by conceptualising and enhancing test equipment and fixtures
Maintain a superior standard of safety and organisation within our lab
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical challenges
Thoroughly document tests and inspections, focusing on precision and detail
Effectively communicate technical questions and findings in a concise and descriptive manner
Diagnose and troubleshoot errors and failures in test setups
Job Requirements
Completion of an Associate’s Degree complemented by extensive hands-on experience as an automotive or electronics technician
Specialised training in High Voltage systems or demonstrated proficiency in battery-powered systems
Mechanical fabrication skills, with experience in machine shop operations and proficiency in utilising hand and power tools
Mechanical expertise, showcasing the ability to disassemble and reassemble electromechanical systems
Proficiency in crafting wiring harnesses through soldering, crimping, and interpretation of wiring diagrams
Methodical and dedicated work ethic, underlined by a strong commitment to quality and craftsmanship
Creative problem-solving approach, coupled with a readiness to learn and experiment with innovative methodologies
Self-directed and capable of seamless collaboration across the entire organisation to gather necessary parts and information for job responsibilities
