Job Description

Our client is a utility with a leading position in energy markets across 30 countries in Europe, Americas, Asia and Africa. Through our solar division, we operate in the development, investment, construction and operation of photovoltaic plants and the supply of green electricity and advanced energy solutions for our customers.

Job Responsibilities

In order to strengthen our Construction team, the Project Manager will be responsible for:


  • Responsible of the Schedule and budget compliance of the projects under her/his responsibility.

  • Responsible for Engineering, procurement and construction contract (EPC) and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Contract Management.

  • Suppliers and contractors’ contract management.

  • Main equipment delivered on time according to the working Schedule.

  • Responsible of the HSEQ compliance policies in the projects.

  • Participate on the purchasing procedures and definitions of needs.

  • Lead the contractors & subcontractors’ relations.

  • Projects invoice verification and approval.

  • Lead on site meetings.

  • Make sure that the projects are accordance with the permits.

  • Make sure that the O&M handover is done properly.

  • Make sure that the projects comply with the technical specifications.

  • Weekly reports responsible (construction progress report, inventory checklist, HSEQ report, machinery list…).

  • Ensuring the tests, trials and operations prior to acceptance of the works in accordance with the our client.

  • Participating in the improvement of processes and in technical monitoring.

  • Participate in the development of backlog projects.

  • Reporting any hazards and risks that appear during the construction phase.

Job Requirements 

  • You have an engineering university degree (civil, electrical, or similar) to a master’s degree and have +5 years of experience in project management during construction (preferably photovoltaic).

  • English and Italian are mandatory.

  • Good technical knowledge in photovoltaic, electricity and building, carpentry.

  • PMI preferably.

  • As a true conductor, you will be responsible for the proper conduct of the projects. You are rigorous, autonomous and have a sense of responsibility.

  • You will be required to be 50% of your time on site and to travel where the projects are located, including internationally if needed.

  • Position to be filled immediately on a permanent basis.
