Wind BoP Project Manager - France

Job Description

Our Client is looking for a Wind BoP Project Manager with significant experience in wind industry.


The Wind Farms are located in France, the Project Manager will be in charge of whole balance of plant. BoP includes all civil and electrical works that are part of a wind farm, such as cables, crane pads, foundations, grid connection, internal electrical system, roads, and substation.

Job Responsibilities

Drive the ongoing growth and expansion of the wind activities and capabilities within the company, actively managing the development of the Wind business within the company in France.


  • Supporting the project manager with site planning, preparation and execut

  • Overseeing and controlling civil and electrical BOP works in anticipation of turbine delivery

  • Managing all aspects of safety and environmental requirements at the wind farm site

  • Building a strong relationship with the customer, other partners and stakeholders at the wind farm site

  • Managing all suppliers at the site including erection & transportation companies

  • Resolve a range of on-site/technical/specialist issues on projects

  • Provide the Project Manager with all necessary reporting and support. This will include: reporting of progress; support for claims for extension of time and/or costs to our customers and suppliers; feedback of data on the installed equipment; and formal feedback on quality issues at site

  • To minimise variations, keeping accurate daily records and reports

  • To ensure compliance with all site environmental legislation and monitor all agreed mitigation

Job Requirements 


  • Knowledge and experience in structure and main plant installation electrical equipment

  • Significant experience in managing BOP/Civil/BESS construction projects

  • Ability to understand electrical design drawings, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and all inspection and testing

  • Contract management including variations and claims

  • Awareness of conditions of different types of contracts

  • Ability to implement quality assurance and environmental processes

  • PC knowledge and application of Microsoft applications

  • Knowledge of specification, design, maintenance, construction and commissioning of renewable systems/electrical substations

  • Proven ability to lead and work in a team and contractors’ environment

  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills

  • 3 Years in a similar Site Manager role with significant experience in managing Renewables/BESS/Solar/Windfarms/Transmission/Civil construction projects

  • Candidate should have significant experience in all current Health and Safety

Expected start date: August 2024

Contract: 1,5 years contract
