Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Battery Build Lead Technician to join a manufacturing team. As the Battery Build Lead Technician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the assembly and testing of battery packs in our state-of-the-art facility. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strong technical background in battery assembly and a commitment to quality and safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of technicians: Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the successful assembly of battery packs.

  • Hands-on assembly: Work alongside the team to assemble and test battery packs according to established procedures and quality standards.

  • Quality control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the reliability and performance of battery packs.

  • Process optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve assembly processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and meet production targets.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and production, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.

  • Safety: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a secure working environment for all team members.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assembly processes, testing results, and any deviations from standard procedures.

Job Requirements 

  • Technical expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience in battery assembly, with a deep understanding of battery technologies and manufacturing processes.

  • Leadership skills: Proven experience in leading and supervising a team of technicians in a manufacturing environment.

  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimize processes.

  • Quality focus: Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring the reliability of battery packs.

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Safety consciousness: Prior experience implementing and enforcing safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
