Job Description
Our client within the Automotive industry is seeking a skilled Business Development Manager. The primary goal of this role is to pinpoint, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities for the company. This involves building and developing customer relationships, specifically concentrating on the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors. The role also involves providing support for sales initiatives, facilitating on boarding processes, and contributing to product development.
Job Responsibilities
Manage relationships with clients and integration partners in the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors.
Identify and cultivate partnerships for integration and indirect sales channels, placing a specific emphasis on the automotive industry.
Implement strategies to generate new business opportunities.
Create and deliver documentation for proposals and bids.
Collaborate closely with technical teams to gather customer requirements and evaluate commercial, timing, and technical feasibility.
Conduct impactful face-to-face meetings to articulate product features, technical differentiators, and value propositions to customers.
Spearhead initiatives to identify opportunities for the company to support cutting-edge business models within the industry.
Contribute significantly to the ongoing refinement of product pricing strategies, adapting to various markets and industry dynamics.
Draft, prepare, and skilfully negotiate commercial terms in coordination with technical, legal, and finance departments.
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Manage Business Development tools, actively participating in reporting to internal stakeholders and identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
Job Requirements
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Proven sales track record
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Proficient in the automotive industry, with expertise in the European and UK markets.
Valuable experience in formulating and executing customer acquisition strategies.
Proven proficiency in delivering presentations and crafting visually compelling documentation.
Positive and adaptable mind-set, coupled with a strong willingness to acquire new knowledge.
Enthusiastic about contributing to a positive global impact through the products we develop and deliver to customers.
Analytical thinking prowess with a capacity to take ownership of diverse tasks across disciplines.
Competent in handling financial documents.
